About this event

The workshop will be facilitated by Andrea Tavchar, professor of public relations, School of Media Studies and Information Technology, Humber College.

Andrea specializes in teaching social media and advocating the use of social media platforms for academic and professional needs. Andrea also teaches students to research, network and create online content.

Major topics covered at the workshop will include:

  • The power of networking
  • How to leverage your social media in the current labour market, and how to mitigate some of its pitfalls
  • Impression management and personal brand

The event will include a networking reception with refreshments.
